Starting care at a new office should feel exciting, not overwhelming.
At Nueva Health, we take a personalized, nervous system-centered approach to chiropractic care.
Our new patient process includes a few simple steps to help us get to know you and create individualized recommendations for your care.
1. Complete Your Paperwork
After scheduling your first appointment by phone or online, you'll receive an email with a link to your new patient paperwork.
The more thorough you are, the better we can understand your health history, current concerns, and wellness goals before you arrive!
2. Your First Visit: Nervous System Scans
Your first appointment takes place in our office and is dedicated to assessing your nervous system using advanced CLA INSiGHT scanning technology.
These non-invasive scans measure different aspects of nervous system function and provide valuable insight into how your body is responding to stress.
- Please allow approximately 15-20 minutes per family member getting scanned.
- Be mindful when dressing your kiddos so we have access to their back for the scans!
- The scans emit no radiation, are safe for all family members, including pregnant moms!
3. Your Doctor Intake Call
After your scans, you'll have a phone appointment with one of our doctors. No need to come back into the office for this one!
Your doctor will review your scans, discuss your health history, and ask any additional questions to better understand your story, concerns, and goals.
4. Your Report of Findings
Your final new patient appointment is an in-office consultation with one of our chiropractors.
After reviewing your scan results, our doctors will create a customized care plan based on your specific needs. During this visit, you will receive a detailed explanation of the findings, an opportunity to ask questions, and—if you decide to move forward with care—your first adjustment!

Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance because we believe your care should be guided by your needs, not insurance limitations. This allows us to work directly with you and your family, creating personalized care plans without insurance companies dictating what care you can receive.
By operating outside of insurance, we also have more flexibility to keep our pricing accessible while giving you the time, attention, and individualized care you deserve.
At Nueva Health, we work for you and your family, not your insurance company.
We do accept HSA/FSA payments, and we’re happy to answer any questions about pricing before you get started.
Can I continue chiropractic care during pregnancy?
Yes! We love supporting moms as early as possible in pregnancy. Your body begins adapting to support your growing baby from the very beginning, and chiropractic care can be a valuable part of your prenatal wellness routine.
As your body changes, shifts in posture and joint mobility can contribute to back pain, pelvic discomfort, and sciatica. Gentle, pregnancy-specific chiropractic care can help support spinal and pelvic mobility, improve comfort, and help you stay active throughout pregnancy.
Dr. Marilyn is certified in the Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment approach used during pregnancy to address pelvic and sacral function.
We believe prenatal care is about more than managing discomfort—it’s about supporting your body as it changes and helping you feel prepared for the journey ahead. While chiropractic care cannot guarantee a particular birth outcome, it can be a valuable addition to your prenatal care team.

Is chiropractic care safe for babies? How early can I get them adjusted?
Absolutely! Chiropractic care can be a wonderful addition to your family’s wellness routine at any age. We’ve cared for babies as young as just a few hours old, helping support healthy movement and nervous system function from the very beginning.
Infant chiropractic care is incredibly gentle, with techniques and pressure specifically adapted to your baby’s size and developmental stage. Our goal is to support your little one as they grow and give them a strong foundation for lifelong wellness. With advanced training in pediatric chiropractic care, our doctors are equipped to meet the unique needs of babies and children at every stage.

Do you offer other services besides chiropractic?
Yes! At Nueva Health, we believe wellness can be supported in more ways than one. In addition to chiropractic adjustments, we offer red light therapy and are expanding our services to include cupping and kinesiology taping (KT tape).
Red light therapy isn't just for weight loss! It can be used to support pain management, healthy inflammatory responses, circulation, and soft tissue recovery. Cupping can complement chiropractic care by addressing muscle tension and supporting mobility, while KT taping can provide additional support for muscles and joints during movement and recovery.
These therapies can work alongside chiropractic adjustments to support mobility, recovery, and overall well-being. We take an individualized approach to help you find the combination of services that best fits your needs and goals.
